Forensic Foundations are working to provide better proficiency tests. To help us we use Inter-lab Collaborative Trials
Inter-Lab Collaborative Study
Background and test design
In addition to offering a program of proficiency tests, Forensic Foundation also offers a number of inter-laboratory collaborative trial. These trials are offered where the test is still in the development phase and/or the tests is niche and/or the field of study is not currently covered by our scope of accreditation.
These trials are designed to accomplish two things.
Increase the scope of your proficiency testing scheme and provide opportunities to grow into areas that do not currently have accredited proficiency testing.
To work with you to design a test that YOU want.
If you can think of a proficiency test that you want, but can’t find a good supplier let us know. This is what these trials are for. If everything goes to plan we can release this trial as a proficiency test the next year.
The Final Reports Forensic Foundations Proficiency Tests will be publicly available via the Forensic Foundations web site. Participating laboratories may use the report as outlined in their respective laboratory policies.
